It’s a festival of gift ideas on Gift Grapevine this month! After spotting so many fab finds, I decided to split my monthly gift picks post into three separate blog posts. Earlier this week I brought you my 11 favourite baby and kids decor finds and today it’s time for toys and craft.
I love a good gift that encourages pretend play, learning and creativity. Here are 7 of my favourite toy and craft finds spotted on the interwebs this past month.
Perth based My Little Play Pack was founded last year by a teacher and mum of three who wanted to create packs for kids which promoted fun and natural learning. Think Pinterest meets Play School in a box.
This My Little Colours play pack comes with one of my favourite books (Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?) a wooden colour stacking toy (great for developing fine motor control and dexterity) plus information on play and learning for 18 month – 3 year olds. All the gift work has been done for you!
Featured recently on Instagram by @instatoddler, Ally Sews is a teenage fabric hoarder from NSW who sews super cute clothes for dolls. Her selection of handmade outfits for Barbie, Skipper and 18 inch dolls is impressive with stylish designs and fabrics.
Coming soon to Blank Canvas Gifts, this white cotton bunting with 12 triangles will provide the perfect blank canvas for kids to create their own masterpiece. A unique and personal gift idea for crafty kids, these packs will be online in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
I love this Make A Mask notepad filled with 20 tear-off paper masks, ready to be coloured in. Lightning bolts, atomic orbits, crescent moons, diamonds – take your superpower pick!
These wooden lacing animals are great for kids aged 3 and over to help develop fine motor skills and hand-eye-coordination. Compact and bright, they come in Butterfly, Camel, Hippo and Fish shapes. Perfect for popping into a bag when you are out and about to keep little hands busy.
A jigsaw puzzle that you can play with?! These awesome Vehicle Puzzle Boxes have wheels so you can roll the box and then do the puzzle. Inside are 48 thick puzzle pieces which make a picture of the vehicle. Clever stuff.
How cute are these Mini Royalty knitted crowns from Melbourne based rupert & milla? Perfect for dress ups, they are durable and have a fair amount of stretch! Available in lots of colours too.
Happy gift hunting everyone and stay tuned for my favourite baby and kids clothing finds next week.
