July gift picks - decor

I have spotted so many wonderful baby and kids gift ideas over the last month that I’ve decided to share them in three separate posts over the next two weeks – décor finds, toy and craft finds and clothing finds.

I blame social media for exposing me to all of these fabulous goods. As usual, a money tree is high on my wish list as I want one of everything!

To kick things off, here are 11 of my favourite décor finds spotted on the interwebs in the last month – all would make unique and personal additions to any little one’s room.

These funky animal tins designed by Swedish illustrator Ingela Arrhenius for OMM Design are perfect for display and hiding trinkets.

House of Rym cereal bowl

There’s more Scandinavian goodness in this House of Rym cereal bowl. These yellow feathers and cute little smile would cheer up even the grumpiest person each morning.

Happy Cloud Nursery Mobile
This Happy Cloud Nursery Mobile is just beautiful. The six raindrops are made of clear acryclic that have etched patterns on them.

Personalised water colour print
A personalised print makes a unique newborn or Christening gift. I love this beautiful personalised water colour print from Toucan – so pretty and romantic.

Happy Ella After bat print

The cool personalised word clouds from Happy Ella After are lots of fun and available in any shape, any colour and any words. But I can’t go past Batman!

I’m a sucker for a cute egg cup and these Danish designed wooden egg holders called Bordfolk (“Table People” in Danish) may just be the cutest I have seen. Lots of characters are available and each come boxed – perfect for a keepsake and practical gift.

T Rex pin board

AL+EM make very cool environmentally friendly and easy to install pin boards. This T Rex Pin Board would make an awesome and unique gift for any dino-obsessed kid.

The Treasure Board by One Two Tree

I love this stunning Treasure Board from One Two Tree. Handcrafted sustainably in Australia, it’s bit of a splurge gift but perfect for displaying toys, trinkets and collections for many years to come.

Play Space moody dreams  Play Space out and about

A play mat is a practical investment for bubs and toddlers and you’re onto a winner when it’s super stylish to boot! The Play Space play mat has a soft cushioned surface so is ideal for tummy time, is usable on both sides and has internal water-resistant layers that act as a barrier for damp surfaces. Available in two colours – Dusty Skies and Moody Dreams.

Kapow felt wall banners

More cool things for walls! These Kapow, Bam, Splat! felt wall hangings from Melbourne’s Lion and the Snail are perfect for any little superhero.

world map decal

I love these giant world map wall decals featured in this post on Paging Fun Mums – such a cool (and educational) addition to a kid’s wall.

Happy gift hunting everyone!
