With so many great gift finds this month, I’ve split them into two posts! After last week’s focus on fantastic new season fashion, décor and accessories, it’s time for my 7 favourite toy and activity finds spotted on the interwebs this past month.
We’ve made it! My 8th and final gift guide is for the tough to buy for tween. The older my nieces get, the more difficult they become to buy gifts for. We’re talking voucher territory here. There’s nothing wrong with a voucher and I give them regularly. It’s just that sometimes it’s nice to give something tangible too.
If you’re stuck with what to buy a kid aged 10 years and over this Christmas, here are my favourite fun and practical gift ideas. As with all my Christmas gift guides, nothing is sponsored here. All ideas are items I love giving or would love to give.
From original baby gifts to beautiful handcrafted nightlights, cute kids prints and a superhero splurge item, here are 8 of my favourite gift idea picks spotted on the interwebs this past month.
I’m a big fan of LEGO. I remember spending hours as a kid building all sorts of weird and wonderful creations. I know in years to come our house will be overrun with little bricks but for the moment, it’s all about Duplo. I love watching what my tornadoes create and at least the larger sized bricks don’t hurt as much as the little spikey suckers.
As a kid there was just LEGO. These days there’s so much more – LEGO City, Speed Champions, Super Heroes, Star Wars, Minecraft, Technic, LEGO Movie, Disney Princess, Creator… the list goes on. Even LEGO Scooby Doo is on it’s way!
With LEGO so popular, it’s no surprise there’s a high chance of double ups when it comes to giving LEGO sets to kids. My godson Mr TJ received 3 of the very same LEGO set for his 4th birthday this year.
